The Festivities of Šumperk

 The Šumperk City Festival is a beloved cultural event that has been taking place since 1998.

From 2024, the festival will have a new name, Šumný Šumperk, and, as in previous years, this year's edition will take visitors back to the era of Little Vienna and the First Republic. The city center and nearby parks will come alive with a vibrant music and entertainment program offering experiences for everyone.

Concert at Pavlína's Courtyard

The lively Šumperk will culminate with a concert at Pavlínina dvůr! The Šumperk band Sioux will perform on stage, followed by singer-songwriter Kateřina Marie Tichá. Renne Dang will play for fans of Czech pop and rap, and the main star of the evening will be Sto zvířat.

Music Program 
in the Heart of the City

Experience live music right in the heart of the city!
During your Saturday stroll, you'll encounter street performers – buskers, or you can request your favorite song from a live jukebox. This year's novelty is the stage "U Sovy" with the name Šumperské pomněnky, where both folk and country bands will perform. 

Fun for Every Moment

Enjoy a day full of fun that will thrill visitors of all ages! You can look forward to a juggling workshop led by experienced instructors from Cacabelo, creative workshops by SVČ Doris, the chance to try out the roles of a firefighter, knight, or majorette, and a ride on a handcrafted carousel by sculptor Matěj. And that's just the beginning – there's much more excitement to come! 

Gourmet Experiences for All Ages

Treat yourself to delicious specialties from the local cuisine that will delight your taste buds. The gastro zone at Sady 1. máje will offer flavors from Mexico, the Czech Republic, and Italy, so everyone will find something they love. For the little ones, sweet pancakes will be ready, while adults can enjoy a unique selection of beers and other drinks. 

UNIQUE MINT MARKET
